Looking forward to it. Hoping we might hear Educate as I don't think it's been played live (?) and then that would be all of EBM live for me. Always hoping for something different - not playing Smokers in France last month for the first time in many gigs was interesting. I'm not fussed about covers like Killer but would love a new mix of an old song like You Are Fading. Agree with all of that. I'm pretty certain Educate has never been done live. I'd be amazed if they ever did a UK show without playing Munich, Smokers, AEHAS, Racing Rats and Papillon since they've been introduced into the set. They're just too much of a staple of an Editors set over here for them not to be included. It would be interesting to hear Killer but I'd rather they didn't do covers given that their own material is pretty much always going to be better than anything they cover.

October Drift as support tomorrow... cant argue with that. It will be a set mainly focused on what will be the core of their sets over the festival period with some extras thrown in. Still think SI should be the closer

yeah that confused me as well. 2 supports? but the venue's website says 7 - 10:30 so that seems tight if doors open at 7? the small band talking shit? a miscommunication (would be so awkward omg)?

Very enjoyable evening.
I'm sure Captain knows this by now but they played Ocean of Night! Superb.
No Smokers or Blood.
Killer was interesting as a one off.
Good crowd and felt very small venue.
Violence is one that seems to get better each time for me.
Hoping for some good media footage from the festival season to enjoy.

Excellent gig tonight, sound was great, could hear Tom very clearly! Setlist was pretty good overall, glad they focused more on the new songs. But think Strange Intimacy is definitely a closer not an opener, and still don’t quite understand doing a cover, especially as the ended the main set with it.
Also, Tom was so crazy haha! Because the stage was so small his seemingly endless energy came out in weird ways 😂😂
Oh also randomly saw the whole band walk by the bar we were in before the gig haha

Last night was great, I'm buzzing! The stage was indeed tiny - Tom's piano fenced Russ off completely 😂 But the energy was really good. Loved hearing Ocean of Night. October Drift were ace as well.
I loved having the Killer cover on the setlist, but I understand people who are a bit less keen. I'm a big Pearl Jam fan and they always pepper in a few covers live, so my view may be a bit distorted 😂
Also happy to finally grab the elusive long-sleeved EBM sweater, which I was starting to think never existed in my size. Yay! 🥹

Will always be an adamski cover to me not a Seal one. Seal done a version of it for his solo album a year or so after the Adamski one
