Wait, I just went to the Barcelona festival's website and it actually seems to be going ahead. They're giving everyone a free FFP2 mask and you have to be tested every day you attend the festival. So that sounds... pretty safe? apart from I for one would totally pass out with an FFP2 mask in Spanish summer temperaturesNo idea what travel restrictions between the UK and Spain are like though. Well only one live in Spain, Madrid cancelled, I wonder if it's really simple for them to go there for one night, except if they have holiday!😉
(Two door cinema club have 3 lives in Spain, the same week and most of UK bands stay in Uk this summer!)
Anyway if it happens, it would be great to have the possibility to watch a video of this unique event.
Well they take a lot of risks in Spain.
In Switzerland, a lot of festivals are cancelled or you have to be seated and less than usual!

Looks like there won’t be any 2021 live dates then. It was only going to be festivals this year anyway but a shame for anyone who was hoping to see the band.

Ah I would love to go, but don’t know if I can travel from the UK, and going to a festival the week after as well 🤔 yeah it's tricky. at the moment people from the UK are not allowed to enter Belgium in an attempt to slow the spread of the delta variant. But everyone knows that variant will eventually become dominant here as well, at which point that travel ban becomes useless, especially for fully vaccinated people.
