i agree with you "forthemoney" that final version could have a vibe from Honesty, but first single ? no. on every editors album, first singles were only fast/rock tune. i think with E5 will be the same

If E5 is indeed quite electronic-sounding (based on what they said and the few clips from Scotland sessions) I can't quite imagine Forgiveness being the first single and having Honesty-like arrangements (strings to create epic sound). But of course the full band version may be quite different to the one we got at Rolling Stone. I was amazed at how different Bricks And Mortar sounded, stripped down like that.

I slowed it down too and I clearly heard "Like the sun ain't drawn for everyone" Forgiveness was included in the 1 hour broadcast of the Rolling Stone Weekender by radio station Pure FM yesterday it sounded bloody fantastic and after hearing this I'm pretty sure it's "the line in the sand ain't drawn for everyone" goodness, this is it kicks like a sleep twitch all over again!
