Chris obviously wont happen, and I have no idea how they’d find the time to make E7 amongst all of that

The e-mail from the mailing list which came round late afternoon announcing the album and tour lists a second date at Barrowlands on 4th March which is good to see.
I've literally done nothing at work today apart from look up hotels, flights and trains for some possible trips. Will definitely do Birmingham, London and the Glasgow dates. Frustratingly booked tickets for Lana Del Rey in Birmingham only a couple of weeks ago which clashes with the Manchester date. Nevermind.
Really fancy seeing them in mainland Europe for the first time. Paris looks an appealing prospect (if I can get a ticket on Monday) and trying to tempt a mate along for one of the other ones.

I definitely recommend going to Paris. Parisian crowds are fucking brilliant, only matched by Italians, Spaniards and probably Latin Americans as far as I know. Probably going myself as well because I need my annual Paris trip /ex-Erasmus student in Paris
oh and the openair gig in Den Haag seems nice, and I'll be in Antwerp too of course

I've only been to Paris once before as a kid so it would be a good chance to go back. It's pretty cheap and easy going down on the Eurostar as well.
Actually just remembered I did see Editors in Madrid on the AEHAS start and that was pretty awesome. That could be a good one to visit again.

I’m curious to see how Wembley pans out. The full capacity is 12,500 but there are ways to bring that down, basically shutting off the seats at the back. But I hope they get a good number in there despite struggling to get Hammersmith/Brixton full in recent years.
I’m throwing in a Glasto rumour - the Den Haag gig is the Thursday leaving the whole weekend free for other shows including Glastonbury.

The Paris show last year was one of my favourite Editors gigs ever, and queuing was very relaxed too (they do start queuing way too early in Paris though)

Anyone know if the Den Haag show is their own gig, or part of a festival?

Anyone know if the Den Haag show is their own gig, or part of a festival? It’s their own gig. First time they’re doing this concept apparently, it used to be a festival

Probably going to Antwerp, Düsseldorf, and The Hague!
I don't really get the concept behind this "best of" tour though, just heard the short interview with Russell on Studio Brussel and he said that they are planning to play all their singles. Isn't this what they've always done over the last few years (besides some album tracks related to the specific tour cycle)?
I would rather hear some songs they have not played in a while: When Anger Shows, Escape the Nest, Spiders, Walk The Fleet Road, Two Hearted Spider, Marching Orders, etc.
