Yes I think your right about the UK your dates but I think there will be a fair few dates. The band still have a big following here it's just our shit radio stations don't play them.

Looking at previous tours they did about 18 dates in the UK supporting The Weight Of Your Love and about 9 when they were touring In Dream. The European tour is already massive so I can only imagine it’ll be about 8 or 9 like last time around doing the more major cities like London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow etc.
To be fair to Editors, I think they’ve done very well to maintain the success they’ve had throughout their career despite never really being favourites with the British press or on the radio. In terms of music stations I only ever listen to 6Music but can’t ever remember hearing them on there.

Tour dates announcement is so exciting! That's a huge European run. I was/am still holding out hope that some US dates will pop up at some point, especially since the last US tour was cancelled (for understandable reasons but still disappointing). Any thoughts?

And thank God Munich has been dropped. 👍🏼 Do you mean the song? As it's on the setlist in the video. I know they didn't play it in Belgium on Monday, but I assumed that was the whole Tom arm thing. Or do you mean the city? As it's Friday 20th April, far from the other bunched up German dates. I'm hoping to hear actual songs before making my tour plans for this next record, if I do many shows at all. The idea of Blanck Mass scares me, since I saw him as a support act for Sigur Ros years ago (spoiler alert: it wasn't pretty). I also kind of hope Editors don't do their usual thing of playing many (15-20?) medium-ish shows in the UK, where they could feel underappreciated and have an audience desperate for the old hits. Or, if they do that, then to actually play to that crowd, even if that means having different setlists for Europe and the UK. Editors in big venues are great, Editors in medium venues where they want to do their thing but are being heckled for Bullets not so much.

On a personal level, it doesn't really bother me, but I hope to God Editors get out of Europe this time around. One of the amazing things about Editors - once - was that there were people in the US, Australia, Japan all sorts, seeing them and loving them. I don't think they've played outside Europe since 2011 when they played Mexico as a four-piece with prefired Chris. I know it's not all that straightforward - finances, audiences, families, whatever - but it's just really bloody weird.

Anyone going to one of the Spanish dates? Madrid looks tempting. It's the cool venue with the palm trees + Spanish crowds are the best

I'm considering going to one of the European shows rather than a UK one (if there are any UK ones!) this year. I want to go somewhere where they have a decent following and enthusiastic crowds, and a friend of mine's always telling me I should go to Poland, so thinking maybe Krakow or Warsaw. Anyone on here live in Poland / been to any of their Polish gigs before? Wondering if I can expect a decent crowd, or if there'll be 10 people clapping politely

I saw them at Riviera in 2008 when they were touring AEHAS and thought it was a great venue. Beautiful city to visit as well. Certainly somewhere I'd like to re-visit if I do see them abroad again.

Got my tickets for Cologne and Amsterdam! Going to be fun to see them play for 4000 people on Sunday and (hopefully) 16.000 people on Tuesday.

Okay, I am a euro or 120 poorer. Antwerp, Paris and Madrid here.
Standing tickets for Antwerp are already sold out by now, pretty crazy!
