That looks like one hell of a party! Can't wait to see what tricks they have up their sleeve when I see them again tomorrow in Tivoli

Great show last night, Nothing worked great as a closer!
The sound was truly awful though, you could barely hear Justin's guitar. The bass was way too loud and sometimes Tom's voice also got lost in the mix. New songs sounded quite okay, but songs from TBR were just a mess.

Yesterday was great indeed! After missing two earlier concerts of them in the Netherlands, I was afraid I would miss out on this tour, but I'm glad I managed to get tickets for this one. And what a concert it was! It started off well with a glimpse of the upcoming new Smith & Burrows. What a joy was coming on the stage as soon as Tom joined Andy. As for Editors, I almost couldn't have whished a better setlist. Hearing The Boxer live (as an opener!) was a treat. Salvation really surprised me, since I never really liked it that much on the album, but live it really hit me. After hearing some of the new live sets from Lemming Archive, I'm glad I also finally heard the new songs live in person, including the awesome Violence/No Harm transition. If I'm being picky they could have swapped the more poppy A Ton of Love and Formaldehyde for more In This Light area work or maybe Belong, but that's just my personal preference. Besides, those songs are hard to think away from an Editors setlist nowadays and they served as a great moment for me to catch some breath The main set reached its climax with Papillon, Magazine and Smokers in rapid succession. I'm glad they decided to swap the encore closer to get some variation in and I couldn't have thought of a better replacement of Papillon or Marching Orders than the full band version of Nothing. This version of Nothing has been one of my favourites since hearing it first at Rock Werchter 2012 and now they've given it the spot the song deserves (with a little help from mister Burrows again!). I must agree that the sound was not superb however. This hall in Tivoli is clearly designed for classical concerts and something tells me that the sound would have been better higher up. So those who are attending tonight, I recommend grabbing a seated place higher up and stand there for better audio quality.
