The setlist fully mad sense tonight! (Apart from NSBTW but let’s say it was a rehearsal for Antwerp. So weird to hear it live with no one singing along lol) AEHAS was moved to before Strange Intimacy - which Ed/Elliott apparently forgot bc Tom was handed a guitar, Strange Intimacy started, confusion ensued Other than that, no setlist changes. A really fun show, everyone seemed to be having a great time. I love this band & the friends I met because of them so much 🥹

I've just about managed to resume normal life after the Antwerp show. It was an emotional one. So many friends and familiar faces there, surrounded by Editors friends on the barrier of their stadium-size catwalk... it was perfect, all of it. And the band deserve to get this size of shows everywhere idk why only 1.5 country in the world seems to realise that. in other news, added Live /s Live festival in Antwerp (29 June) to the list - amazing line-up with The National playing the day before along with Ben Howard and Tamino and Paolo Nutini on the same day as Editors ......but it's veeery expensive and has a golden circle that is even more expensive, fuck that lastly, here's a short clip of Crawl Down The Wall in Lux, we love a random unexpected B-side on the setlist! http://instagram.com/p/C4YL3OiNxuM

new show announced at The Leadmill in Sheffield on 1 May! I have to admit, really not liking the way they have been announcing gigs for the last year or 2, what happened to just announcing a tour instead of announcing random gigs at random times? Like I understand it’s not always possible as organising a tour is a nightmare, but I’d be really annoyed if I was from Sheffield and had already booked to go to London for example

this is why you should always book hotels with free cancellation I think the live music scene is quite a mess post covid, I mean I have no real knowledge on any of this but it seems hard to predict demand. The 2022 EBM tour didn't sell amazingly (only like 3 sold out shows) because everyone and their cat was touring and there was an energy crisis and still some covid and shit. They didn't even sell out and 8,000 capacity venue in Belgium. Fast forward 2 years and boom they sold out a 20,000 capacity venue in the same country. Seems like they are just booking shows where & when they know they'll sell well (let's just ignore Paaspop). Anyway they are really testing me here. 1 May is a bank holiday, I love Brixton Academy, I'd love to see them in a small venue again (referring to Sheffield here not Brixton lol) buuuuut the UK is also expensive and I'm trying to be a responsible adult here help

We are going to Brixton(think to make up for not going to Belgium in the end) , somehow I’ve never seen them in London before even though it’s close to where I live 😅 Excited seeing as isn’t it Tom’s favourite venue!
It is always fun seeing them in a small venue! Northampton was amazing last year, was the smallest venue I’ve seen them in by well technically only a couple of hundred people, but I think Prague was actually oversold by quite a few hundred people it was mental 😂
