Leeds setlist seems to be the same as Newcastle with the addition of Hallelujah. Very much looking forward to tonight

Brilliant show in Liverpool tonight. The Phone Book has always been a special song for me, so it was such a treat to finally hear it live at my 13th (I think) Editors gig. Worth the 11 year wait. Magical!

Fabulously hot and sweaty night in Liverpool All Sparks instead of Lights and no Hallelujah but otherwise the same setlist. EBM songs definitely sound different without Ben but always good to hear new things. Not sure At All Costs works in an encore or indeed at all but everything else was great. Tom's guitar failed at the start of Bones 'How can you always be late for your arrival' which made him chuckle

Brilliant show in Bath last night! A good crowd too which from experience can really kill a gig. The band on form and great sound & lights!
Some interesting points to ponder:
Great songs played but the sequencing was strange. At All Cost and Phone Book in a 3 song encore? Though it didn’t work for me, I refrained from talking through them like the people adjacent!
Overall I thought the sound was better than last time I saw them in Bristol. Dare I say this was owing to the absence of Ben? Overall a lot less bassy and electronic. I’m aware this sounds odd, especially as I love industrial/electronic music, but there was just something better and a bit more direct in term of sonics last night.
Nothing off Violence. Could this be due to the absence of Ben? Not sure, but some phenomenal songs on that album that could have had an airing.
Without anything resembling a hit since Papillon (in the UK), they are selling these gigs out no problem. Heartening, and goes to show that this far in they will probably always have the ability to do so. Great songs just endure don’t they.
Interested to hear the thoughts of others!
PS I will never wear a White Lies t-shirt to and Editors gig again haha. While it’s lovely to strike up a conversation with a band tee, when you’re being stopped by nearly 20 people it’s a tad draining!

Back from Bath! Brilliant show as usual, of course, what did you think I was going to say? Was great to hear Two Hearted Spider (full band) again after all these years, + The Phone Book nice little throwback to the TWOYL tour, though I'm convinced they sound even better now. The TWOYL vibes with full band Nothing too, and all the EBM songs (I love EBM so much - especially live, it's insane) are definitely building the anticipation fot Antwerp next Friday. The first Sportpaleis show was my first (Editors) gig ever and if I ever got access to a time machine that allowed me to experience one day in my life again, that's probably the day I'd choose. Such fond memories. Just had a look at setlist fm, turns out next Friday will be my 40th oops! About the encore, I still think it's a bit weird, but not in a bad way at all. Bit of a campfire vibe for The Phone Book and Smokers, which works in these small venues. Not sure it will work in the big ones though, hopefully they'll move Papillon or Strange Intimacy* to the encore for Amsterdam and Antwerp. And um, At All Cost, hello? Apparently Tom felt like proving (again) that the Daily Mirror was right 10 years ago, holy fuck. I don't even like the song but I listened to my recording 3 times on the train home. *to the security guy who asked me if I needed some water after I gestured to my friend like "I'm done", I was not about to pass out, just exhausted! Strange Intimacy into Papillon is a proper workout y'all. Here's At All Cost in full

Glad you've found some love for At All Cost. It was the last one to grow on me from In Dream, but I suddenly fell for it, and it was a real treat hearing it live in Liverpool.

Thanks so much for the badges and sticker 🥰 Absolutely loved the show, really glad to be able to get on the barrier and also get my first setlist in nearly 10yrs! 😁 Very much looking forward to Friday at Sportpaleis - will be my first time in Belgium and really intrigued at how much the set will change with the show being in a much bigger venue.

A very enjoyable night in Bath on Friday. We were in the seats upstairs and it was the oldest average aged audience I can remember! The only exception to that would have been Tom's young lad who was with Edith and sporting the camouflage Editors t=shirt and dancing away to Bones I got a selfie with Edith and told her I loved Tom Really enjoyed the venue as somewhere new to us and thought the sound was very good though the amount of strobe lighting was very off putting upstairs. I didn't remember that in Liverpool so perhaps it was an angle issue? It was all too much for me to be sat down so I went to the few empty rows at the back to dance away as soon as Heart Attack started! Nice to hear Lights instead of All Sparks and as always just really enjoy seeing other fans singing along looking so happy to be there. Special mention to the group of friends on the front row who danced all night - they were at the Liverpool gig. I wish I had that stamina!

a couple of changes in the set tonight in Amsterdam: NSBTW instead of At All Cost, Nothing moved to the encore, main set closer was AEHAS
first two changes make sense imo but AEHAS as main set closer? with Papillon just before it? straaaaaange haha
