Just a note for anyone driving into Manchester tonight that Man City are playing at home so traffic will be even busier than normal on Mancunian Way A57.

Same set again in Manchester tonight. The crowd was very up for it. I feel physically and emotionally drained after watching that. They have balanced the set out really well in terms of more uptempo and then slower sections of the set and also in terms of how the EBM tracks sit with older material. It all flows really well.
Going from past experience I think Sunday night at Barrowlands will be a very lively affair. I’m just glad I’m seeing a more sedate Twilight Sad acoustic gig in Edinburgh tomorrow night for something a little more mellow to try and recover before Glasgow.

Thank you Captain. Really excellent show. The band are on fine form at the moment with tons of energy. The Kiss - Violence - No Harm section was particularly excellent, and I'm so glad they did Silence!

The Barrowlands show was possibly my favourite of the tour so far. It’s a great venue and the crowd always really responds to the band. You wouldn’t have known last night was a Sunday night gig.
Kiss is probably the pick of the set for me and is possibly my favourite Editors track at this point. It’s just absolutely perfect. Strange Intimacy has really grown on me and works superbly live. A great set closer. I was already a big fan of Picturesque but that really is an immense track when done live. I’d have loved to have heard Educate as well but I really can’t fault this set list at all. I must say as well, stuff like Munich sounds better now than it ever has done with the post-Chris line-up. The addition of Blanck Mass has really boosted the sound. I’d be delighted if he stays working with Editors on the next album as, in my opinion, he really brings something extra to their sound.

The encore deserves a new tune
Be like the album, open with Heart Attack and close with Strange Intimacy
just swap it and Papillon round in the order

I second this - especially with the line ‘this party is over’ - it’s the perfect closer - I’m so excited to see them in Bristol on Thursday 😊
