Hello all,
just a quick question from a guest to this Forum: Would anyone know what Windows true type font was used for the "Back Room" album cover? It doesn't seem to be one of the usual Win fonts as in particular the "R" appears to be slightly different to the usual fonts.
Any help is much appreciated :-)
Cheers!

I was looking into this a few days ago and found this discussion here - www.typophile.com/node/49261I don't know if it's super helpful as they never actually resolve what the font is, it's possibly a custom-made one for the band. But they come pretty close.

Many thanks for your help, Richard. That's a great hint....the discussion there however seems to be more about the "An end has a start" font, which is slightly different to the "Back Room" one. Most letters appear very similar, it is the "R" though that makes the biggest difference.
You might be right....maybe it was custom-made...
Any other suggestions, please?

I remember a discussion about this on the old forum, and back then the right font wasn't found either if I remember correctly; there were some good suggestions but either the R or the S was always off, so it must be custom made.
