Got an email from the Management from where i knew about Barricades, because i asked at the q+a if there are more songs from the violence sessions. Told him i read about it here, and that one fan from the forum investigated  So, is this Barricades track on the Japanese album or not? Sorry if I ask again but I didn’t understand... me too. any ideas about magazine as a single on cd ?

The band told that the japanese edition will contain a different version from the pulse.

I’m so confused now. Multiple jap sites report Barricades on the track list, where did they get that title from if it wasn’t even supposed to be released? Plus if you translate the description they e en say that the album has 10 tracks. The alternate version of The Pluse must be a bonus track.

Ok so short answer - they somehow got wrong (old) info. I'm not sure how or why, but they somehow picked up a 'working' tracklist and not the final one. Tom /the band decided 'Barricades' needed more work so it was taken off the album. CD Japan is a wholesaler that exports jcd so maybe they picked up some rogue metadata somewhere ! I'm trying to get to the bottom of it!
The JCD includes The Pulse (Oxford) as a bonus track , and contains liner notes with translated lyrics in jewel case but the rest of the album is the same as the Int'l version.
Hope this clears that one up!

Thank you allsparks for asking again and clarifying this once for all! Still bummed we won’t have an extra song. At this point we can only hope for Dream Dark As Your Heaven to resurface somehow...

More songs is not always better, the band had a reason not to include it on the album. Same for Dream Dark As Your Heaven, if the band was really happy with that song, they would have released it. Quality > Quantity.

Sad news on Barricades. But in the end I'm glad to get an album version that includes The Pulse.
