i'm just gonna say there's no way that no sound but the wind is anything other than a reworking of the old song
for it to be a completely new song with the same title as one of their old songs would be rather nonsensical and kind of lame

Will it just be the official release of the version that is already on the Cuttings? Maybe with a VIOLENCE sause

Well I'm not super thrilled at the moment. I'm curious about the other songs, but the video & the sound of magazine aren't doing it for me.
I'm curious how Cold and Hallelujah have changed.

If the album version of Cold doesn't have the long dramatic intro as we've heard by now - well, it will be a fu*king shame.

Live version with intro lasts 4:27 (eurockeenes), and versions with no into 3:34 and 3:50 (southside and kendal)

I'm guessing that intro was more to introduce the band(it was always played at the start of a concert), with a nice transition into the song.

Anyone noticed this on Rahi's Instagram story? It seems that Chinese digital music page had the edit version. P.S. Just recently discovered Blanck Mass' Redesign of Placebo's Talk Talk cover, Life's What You Make It. You should check it out, it's much more aggressive than Magazine - hope there are some tracks like that on VIolence.

+ Ocean of Night, and The Law (though that was only 1 or two days before the release if I'm not mistaken) I agree that was a bit too much

One more single right before the album release would be a smart move, because by then the hype from Magazine (if there is any) is bound to die down. It has incredibly little views on YouTube, this video.
