Wow! It sounds like it'll be even better than the live version, and I've been loving the live version 🖤 Moody, aggressive, atmospheric sound. Never been more excited for a Monday! 😋 Also March 9th is my birthday, so that'd be a fantastic day for E6 to be released!

Well, this must be great news for you folks who like that song, but not for me.
Magazine is the All the kings of this album for me. I couldn't get into that song much at all.
I'll probably have to wait quite a while for yet another single.

I'll probably have to wait quite a while for yet another single. I know it's a long-shot but maybe it isn't the exact same as the live version? They did this quite a couple of times in the past. On the other hand, I hope this gets an official release by Friday or something - fu*k radio premieres, give us a download - it's 2018.  P.S. Violence as a title is making more and more sense by the minute - the sound of the songs we heard by now is more or less aggressive (violent) and it's the sixth album, so - VI olence.

No, I mean in the past, If one of their albums ever leaked early. Curious if there are any odds of that happening.

I think In Dream leaked about two weeks early, TWOYL leaked more than a month early on some Russian site. These days the question isn't 'will it leak?' but 'when will it leak?' it seems.

in dream leaked 1 week earier. it was on soulseek. now everything is much more difficult so it can leak max 1 week before release date. Editors it's not madonna ;]

The Back Room leaked about a month early, but that was 2005, so pretty good going for the time. I think AEHAS was a few weeks. I think they managed to keep ITL&OTE under wraps until the week before, when it went on Wy7, a streaming service I'd never heard of before or since. TWOYL was a month before, I think - I remember listening to it in May when it came out in late June/July. I can't remember what happened with In Dream.
Albums are way less likely to leak now, but then again, casual fans are less likely to buy it anyway, with streaming. I reckon about a week before, it might have a streaming preview on a website. You can wait eight weeks whatever happens.

I was referring to an Editors album, we're on Editors' forum last I checked.. its not that hard to extrapolate from context. I appreciate the second answer, could've done without the elitist/condescending first one though.

It’s so annoying! RadioX is pretty crap anyway: bring back the old XFM and the older days of radio 1 with Jo Whiley on in the mornings.
