I got editors album and tickets as a gift and after a really shit couple of years it gave me something to look forward too. I hadn’t seen them since 2014 and I love the new album. Myself, my partner and my in-laws all traveled to Aberdeen to see Editors live, it go cancelled with the promise that they would be back! But we’ve never heard anything and it looks like they have abandoned their Scottish fans! Which is deeply upsetting and I know a lot of people were heart broken when the gig was cancelled! So what can I/we do to get a response from the band, they ignore tweets and Instagram comments! I feel like they owe all the fans a response and another gig!after all they let us down due to a cold (don’t you be so cold 🎶 aye) disappointed is an understatement.

While it was disappointing that it got cancelled, these things happen. The band and everyone involved were as disappointed as anyone that they had to cancel to last minute. They even looked as rejigging the setlist to accomodate Tom's vocal issues as well as putting on a differenet kind of show. At the end of they day they took the hard and painful choice to cancel.
They havent abandoned the fans and they will have looked at rescheduling the show but clearly they were not able to. And it wouldnt have been down to just them, the venue and promoter would have been involved in the decision to cancel it completely.
What kind of response are you looking or hoping for?
They said they were gutted, said they would look in to it, things didnt work out, refunds were issued, gig was cancelled.
Captain Crieff and DannyManta like this

They confirmed that the date wouldn't be rescheduled a few days after the gig and I got my refund straight away. It was a shame but just one of those things I guess.
