So after a long wait we finally get a proper Uk tour from the band. I’m doing all 12 English and Scottish dates this time round. I’ll be interested to see what kind of set we get in Southampton tonight. Hopefully different from the short tour before Violence came out. It would be great to hear Counting Spooks live. Only about 3 hours to wait now!

There’s 3 new t-shirts on sale tonight. The ‘Wings’ one which is on the website, the Violence one which was on the last tour but with updated tour dates for the Autumm, and ‘Woodcutter’ one which is a pretty cool design.

Any chance you can get a pic of the woodcutter one?
Enjoy all the gigs!

Any chance you can get a pic of the woodcutter one? Enjoy all the gigs! I’m going to buy one of them at some point this week so will try to upload a photo when I get it. There’s also a mug of the Woodcutter as well. I thought Talos did a good opening set. No-one is going to match up to Twilight Sad on the 2015 tour but I think they will certainly be worth catching before each main set.

Great version of Fall. Doing Violence. Guessing No Harm is out of the set now.

No i’m wrong, it’s still going into No Harm. It felt like a much heavier and aggressive version of Violence. Brilliant so far.

This is pretty damn fantastic. Good mix of songs but quite heavy on early material. Great atmosphere for a Sunday night.

Yeah I'm not gonna lie I'm slightly against so much old material. Sure it's great to hear songs you've not heard in a long time but I'd rather hear the likes of YDKL, ERM, 2HS and COUNTING SPOOKS - it frustrates me they haven't found a way to perform it live, it's the only song they haven't played from violence! I'm at bristol tomorrow so I'm not expecting a change is setlist. I'll obviously still enjoy it massively, I'm just slightly underwhelmed by so much old material when they've made it known they don't like to dwell on the past and also like to focus on the present. It kinda feels like because it's been a while since an actual UK tour, 3 years in fact, that they don't want to alienate people who aren't into the newer material.
