After the live stream from Utrecht last night and seeing the band backstage etc, it got me thinking.
Is it not time we were treat to an official live recording? I'd love a proper film of one of their shows, something like 'Editors Live at Sportspaleis'. And if a film is out of the question, a live LP would do nicely as an alternative.
6 albums in, I'm surprised we haven't had something like this yet.

They have always said they find concert dvds and the likes tacky and wouldnt do one. Also that they dont capture the true wonder of a live gig.
We have been asking for one since year dot.
Dont expect one any time in the next century.

This is funny because a few hours ago stubru announced the acoustic session the band played in March is getting released on vinyl for charity (Oxfam) €60, available from saturday 10am CET at bilborecords I think. I’d post a link but I’m in a slightly messy queue in Brussels at the moment  Does that count?

I can get through now. It's saying the product is unavailable but it was saying that before it went on sale as well. What a mess of a website.
