I was just about to ask the same question, he always seems to find the time for a new supergroup just in the middle of a new tour...I personally wouldn't mind to have Nick in Madrid!

He didn't tour with Minor Victories either so I think it'll be the same this time?

Tickets for Birmingham, Manchester and London booked. Can't wait for it! Anyone know who will be opening for them in London? I assume they'll go on stage at 9:00?

I did see somewhere that they had announced the support for the UK gigs but I can't remember who it was. Not anyone I'd heard of before. Hopefully the adverse weather conditions over here don't affect any of the gigs over the next few days. There hasn't actually been much snow so far in Birmingham but travelling through the city is very difficult at the moment and I know a few events are being cancelled or postponed over the weekend.

I’m hoping this won’t be relevant, but here it is anyway.
The promoters for the Birmingham and London shows are Goldenvoice, with SJM Concerts (the promoter side of Seetickets / Gigs And Tours) also listed on the Birmingham tickets. I don’t know about Manchester but probably Goldenvoice as well, it will say on your ticket.
They will be the companies involved in questions over refunds, etc. In relation to you being unable to make the venue(s) due to the snow. Some shows have been cancelled in Birmingham already, but there’s also plenty (like Elbow) going ahead at present.
I’d say keep your eyes and ears out for further updates. Frankly I don’t know what to say. The weather has been pretty... erratic, but if the band are able to fly back from Poland to the U.K., then they can probably make it to the venue, and unless the city completely shuts down, which seems unlikely, then Birmingham will probably go ahead, and the weather should get back to rain soon enough and everything should continue as normal.
Some acts appear to have hinted at refunds / exchanges for those unable to make certain gigs for weather-related reasons, but obviously I don’t know if that will apply to these shows because every show is different / there aren’t obvious replacement shows on a tiny sold out promo tour. This will be at, I’m guessing, the promoter’s discretion.
It would be helpful (for me) for any Birmingham cancellation in particular to be done as soon as possible, but I also accept that there are millions of factors involved. But basically it’s the promoters (and your ticket provider) you need to talk to, it’s not usually an issue for the band themselves or the venues.
TL;DR: feak rambles about promoters ahead of U.K. tour likely to be hit by some weather disruption. Little actual relevant information here but if I don’t post it, I’ll have spent five minutes writing it out, and a couple of days thinking about it, for no reason.

I would expect tonight's gig to go ahead. There was some more snow overnight in Birmingham but we're forecast a day of rain here and the temperature is finally above 0. Local transport seems to be running rather more regularly than it was on Thursday and Friday when it was absolute hell getting home from work.
In the circumstances I'm so glad they're playing at the Town Hall as its only about 2 minutes walk from New Street station. I only live a 15 minute train ride from the city centre but am going to allow plenty of time to get into town tonight.
I seem to remember the last UK tour they did for In Dream started off in doubt when there was a huge fire in Bristol next to the venue. I'd hoped everything would be a bit more simple this time round!

I was at the Bristol gig and yeah it was the first night of the tour, I got to Bristol in the afternoon and saw the massive fire coming out of the student housing and remember reading on twitter that colston Hall didn’t know if the gig was still going to go ahead because the fire crews had to check to see if there was smoke damage to the Hall. For a couple hours it was touch and go and I was getting more and more agrevated but then we saw the band turn up and I had a photo with Justin before hearing them sound check 🙂 then in the gig Tom said “which shall we play - smokers or all sparks, both seem very fitting after today” 😂 I’m off to Clapham on Tuesday and praying everything goes to plan.
