When i first heard Violence i did not like it at all. Too much beat and tempo. Second abd third time listening to it is way better.
Belong got me listening with my mouth open. I like the live the Pulse more than the album version, just as nsbtw. But for the rest I really really love it! Way more than in dream (but thats not too hard 🙄)

I like Violence but I really prefer the live version. Tom's shouts on the live version really sound great, on the recorded version there's none of that shouting. Right!The voice is darker live!

I think Belong is my favorite on this entire album. The spoken 'Welcome Home' backing vocals in Belong sound so much like Kylo Ren from Star Wars :')

it's first editors album where i like all tracks, i don't want skip any of them.

Belong sounds to me like maybe 2 lovers getting back together after a long while, "never belong to anyone else but me", and towards the end it goes all epic and loud, "Welcome home, how long's it been"?
I honestly got goosebumps. I love how it progresses, from the calm tic toc at the start, to the big fighty confrontational sound at the end.

I really like Belong. I have the impression to listen to a new band with these studio versions. Maybe my biggest gripe with the album - sounds too far away from my perception of Editors, but okay only one-two stinkers and the rest is ranging from good to legendary. Still, will take a lot of getting used to - but I like a challenging record.

I really like Belong. I have the impression to listen to a new band with these studio versions. Well it kinda sucks that we probably won't get to hear it live. The first half is really more slow, stripped back. Don't think they'd want to do it live. But, if they'd do it at least a few times so we'd get hd footage of them performing it, I'd be really happy.

Can you really wait till Friday? I'll try to not listen to it in the car tomorrow, just for you captain haha thank you! you can listen on the way to the museum though
